Last year one of our own at Skydive Nagambie, Emma Pearce (packer extraordinaire) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) MS is an autoimmune disease which has no cure. As friends of someone living with MS there is nothing we can do as such to help with the MS but we can donate to the MS research society to help find a cure. Obviously we can do this at anytime through the foundation but what we are doing at Nagambie is running a not for profit Tandem day to be held on February 17th next year.

All profits from the day and staff wages will be donated to the MS society. Also we have been organizing sponsors to help with T-shirts, fuel and prizes for the punters who come along for the day. If anyone out there owns a business that would like to donate any prizes all if skydivers would like to make a donation to the day please get in touch with me either through Skysurfer or alternatively via email at easterxxx@hotmsil.com.

Also if you know of any friends or family that are looking to do a tandem skydive in Victoria this would be a great day to get involved. check out the page MS JUMPATHON At Skydive Nagambie on Facebook for more details and remember to like the page.

Thanks for you support.

Paulie.

Sounds like there wasn't a ton of profit from this venture, despite some great organising and contributions from the crew.

If you're able to slip a few bucks towards the cause, that link again:

Just saw a FB posting that lists the amount raised in excess of $8,000.00.

If this figure is correct, well done everyone @ Nagga's who made this possible!!

Um, there's some other stuff somewhere discussing what was left after operational expenses.
I repeat the call for anyone who's got a few bucks to chip in.

The final amount that was donated to the MS society and MS Research Australia was around $8800 in the end. Around half /half was donated to each. Big thanks to all who helped out in load organising and donating their time doing the tandems as well as video staff. Also thanks also for the t-shirt designs and to all who came to jump for the 3 days.
