Hey guys, I signed up a few weeks a go and thought I would say hi. I took my first tandem at 14 and always said I wanted to get back for AFF one day. 7 years later and I finally got here, just passed lvl 4 the other day actually - officially flying by myself now. I'm learning down at Byron, seems like a great DZ - very professional. So far the course is going awesome, having a blast, building confidence (surprisingly how quick this happens actually) and learning new things every day im there.  The only challenge so far has been the weather, 4 jumps in 4 weeks now is a little frustrating but what can you do. I have a pilots license also and I recall weather being just as much of a hindrance when I was a student so I guess I was expecting it but its still frustrating haha.

Anyway, have a good new years everyone...hopefully there is some good weather on the way so I can get back up there. Looking forward to meeting up with some of you in the future!

i've got 2 weeks holidays which could possibly be the best 2 weeks of my life.
fingers crossed it turns out alright.
they reckon because of location i'd be unlucky to have dramas at toogs so i can only hope they are right  :)

Its pretty cool that there are a few of us newbies all heading into it at the same time.  Will be great to follow both of your progression and throw mine into the mix also.  I have been reading heaps.  So much to rembember.
